Even though lead actor Tom Selleck doesn’t want to admit that the series has been canceled yet, he recently spoke in an interview about his future as an actor in Hollywood. It looks like he already has one Plan for the time after Blue Bloods elaborated.
Returning as Jesse Stone? Tom Selleck already has an idea of what could happen next for him after Blue Bloods
Speaking to Parade, Selleck reveals that he as Officer Jesse Stone wants to return. Stone is a fictional character created by Robert B. Parker who investigated her first case in 1997. After that, 14 more books were published (eight by Parker, three by Michael Brandman and three by Reed Farrel Coleman).

Blue Bloods ends this year in December with the 14th season on CBS. This will be published in two parts. Part 1 started in February. Part 2 will follow in October.
