Sony’s smaller Marvel Universe almost always lags behind Kevin Feige’s larger MCU, huh success and quality regards. A big exception is Venom with Tom Hardy. 2018’s quirky superhero blockbuster brought the studio nearly $900 million in box office earnings.

ProSieben is broadcasting Venom today at 8:15 p.m. In addition to the second part that has already been released, Sony also has one third installment in the Marvel series commissioned.

With Venom, Sony has created an intriguing Marvel niche
