Tom Hanks’ TV4 tribute at the gala premiere: “You are the best”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Fredrik Backman’s novel “A man called Ove” was a success, which was then converted to the big screen, where the success continued with 1.7 million moviegoers in Sweden.

Now the turn has come to the USA, where the film has been named “A man called Otto”. In the lead role, Rolf Lassgård has been replaced by none other than Tom Hanks – who on Tuesday visited the gala premiere at the cinema Rigoletto in central Stockholm.

TV4’s reporter Nanna Martorell managed to catch him on the red carpet – where the superstar paid an unexpected tribute to the channel.

– Stop bragging. Ok, you guys are the best, Hanks began the interview before going on to talk more about his role as Otto and about the differences, and similarities, compared to the Swedish version.

– It is quite scary to be in Ove’s country and play Otto, said Hanks.
