Tom Hagen is acquitted – his wife disappeared

Billionaire Tom Hagen, husband of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen, who disappeared from the home in Norwegian Lørenskog almost six years ago, is acquitted in court of suspicions that he may have participated in his wife’s disappearance.

In a press release from Tom Hagen’s lawyer Svein Holden, it appears that the case was dismissed as “no crime is considered proven”. This means that the evidence against Hagen is not judged to be particularly strong.

Tom Hagen has been suspected of murder or complicity in murder for over four years. He has always denied involvement.

The investigation continues.

We believe that Anne Elisabeth Hagen has been the victim of a serious crime, and the investigation in this case will continue, says prosecutor Vibeke Schøyen in a press conference on Friday.
