After intense internal negotiations in view of the legislative elections, an agreement was reached between the political family of the President of the Republic, the Horizons party of Edouard Philippe and the MoDem of François Bayrou. These three main forces will be the pillar of a movement aspiring to be the presidential majority in the National Assembly. All gathered under one and the same banner: “Together”. This was announced by the staffs of these various movements, Thursday, May 5, 2022, gathered in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, at the headquarters of La République en Marche. An appellation that will also soon disappear. Stanislas Guérini, the general delegate of LREM, indeed announced on this occasion that the party launched by Emmanuel Macron in 2016 would henceforth be called “Renaissance”, a term already used for the name of the list of LREM candidates in the European elections. of 2019.
