The weekly update is particularly small on June 9th in Lost Ark. It not only disappoints the fans because of what it brings, but above all because of a previous teaser. We at MeinMMO summarize.
What’s in the update? Strictly speaking, almost nothing. This week’s update is extremely small. It is just a single change that should only affect a fraction of western players at all.
Today’s June 9 patch fixes some issues with the Korean audio track if fans had it installed. This audio track was only implemented after the release because many players wanted it. Nevertheless, today’s update should only pick up a very small part of the community.
This is mainly because the new Legion Raid Vykas was announced in the June roadmap two weeks ago. Just yesterday Lost Ark also posted a teaser on Twitter showing the new boss:
Players were hyped and expected Vykas to be released today with the update, and are now disappointed that the patch is so small.
How long is the server status offline? As usual, the Lost Ark servers will go offline at 9:00 a.m. German time and will probably remain so for four hours this week. If everything goes according to plan, you can start again at 1:00 p.m.
It is currently not clear whether you need a download if you have not installed the Korean language pack. We will keep you informed about downtime and download and update this article in time.
At least Vykas looks beautiful, as do 4 other MMORPGs you see in our video:
The community is annoyed by the bugs
What do the fans want? Not only were the players looking forward to Vykas after the teaser on Twitter, but also to an important bug fix. A bug where parts of the user interface just stick to your mouse pointer and you can’t walk anymore is still in the game – and has been for 3 weeks.
Last week Lost Ark mentioned in the patch notes that they are already working on it. In today’s update, however, there is neither a bug fix nor current information on the progress of troubleshooting. The first reactions from the community are correspondingly negative.
What is the community saying? The first reactions to the update trickle in via the comment function on Twitter. We would like to summarize some of them for you:
What do you think of the update? Are you also bothered by the current bugs and did you expect a fix this week? Are you eagerly awaiting Vykas and have you also been a little disappointed by the teaser? Write it to us in the comments here on MeinMMO.
In addition to the bugs, the game has other problems: MMORPG Lost Ark has almost 800,000 active players on Steam – but many of them are destroying the economy.
