In Nighttreign, there will be no possibility to create and customize your own character, as is possible in Elden Ring. Instead, in the new game you can meet a total of 8 different so -called nightfarers, of which you can already get to know 4 in the network test.
Who are the Nightfarer? The Nightfarer are the playable characters from Elden Ring: Nightreign. Each of them has a specific style of play, as well as personal entry weapons and special skills that can be used differently in the game.
Every nightfarer has one Character talent (hold on the PS5 △ button and press L2), as well as one Ultimate art (Hold △ button and press R2). Both of these skills have a Cooldown, which accumulates on its own. We present the skills of the individual Nightfarer in this article.

Here you can find out who the heroes from Nightreign are, what they can do, and for which playing style they are suitable for:
Wylder
Wylder is a generalist who is particularly suitable for starting. At the beginning, it has a large sword and a fist sign, as well as a crossbar attached to the forearm, with which it can fire a tank hook or explosive bolt.
Tip: His Ultimate can hit several goals if you fired in a group. The great damage is therefore also suitable for the simultaneous revival of both teammates, which is primarily useful if you are the last survivor.
Guardian
Guardian is a paladin whose head is reminiscent of that of a Stormhawks from Sturmschleier Castle in Elden Ring. It wears heavy armor, a tower sign and a large habita. A character with high defense skills that can withstand violent opposing attacks with his sign.
Tip: Similar to Wylder, his Ultimate hits several goals and can therefore be used for the damage to several opponents and to revive several players. As long as he is in the air during his Ultimate, many opponents can no longer reach him.
Recluse
Recluse is a magician who masters cursed magic, enable you to spell your mighty spell. She focuses on magical ranged damage because she has a weak defense but can absorb health from her opponents.
Tip: While you collect affinity residues through the magical cocktail, the FP is recharged from Recluse to enable more spells.
Duchess
Duchess is a precise assassin that relies on nimble attacks and can quickly dodge several times in a row. It has a weak defense, which can compensate for by her evasive skills. She wears a silver mask, a fine leather clothing and at the beginning leads a decorative short sword.
Tip: Duchess’ skills can be very rewarding with good timing. Anyone who uses their character talent immediately according to the ultimate art of a teammate can quickly melt the opponent’s beam of life. Your Ultimate is suitable for a short breather because opponents do not see hidden goals and do not attack directly.
What should you also know about the characters before the network test? It can be exciting to test different group constellations. It makes sense to have a character available for every task (tank, damage, support), but it can be exciting to drive a completely different direction.
A nightfarer can be selected by several players at the same time. Therefore, there can theoretically exist a whole group of recluses that only rely on magic, or a bird crowd of Guardians. How strong (or not) this idea is, you have to find out yourself.
