The European Union will transfer 1.5 billion euros of frozen Russian funds to Ukraine today, says the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen community service in X.
The amount to be transferred is the proceeds of assets frozen in Russia.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal welcomes funds.
