Today, December 24, 2022, begins the Winter Wonderland mini-event and Raid Day featuring Hisui Arktilas in Pokémon GO. MeinMMO shows you what’s inside.
What is Winter Wonderland? This is a mini-event that’s active over the holidays in Pokémon GO. Winter Wonderland is also part of the Winter Holidays Part 2 Christmas event.
When is the mini event? The Winter Wonderland mini-event starts on Saturday, December 24th at 10:00 a.m. and runs until Sunday, December 25th at 8:00 p.m. There are two bonuses and a collector’s challenge.
Mini Event Bonuses: While the Winter Wonderland event is active, there will be two bonuses in Pokémon GO:
Collector Challenge: During the event, there is a Winter Wonderland Collector’s Challenge. If you successfully complete the challenge by December 25th (Sunday) at 20:00 CEST, you will receive XP and smoke and can encounter a Galar Mime.
Change to Lucky Swap? Just in time for the Winter Wonderland event, Niantic is increasing the number of Lucky Pokémon you can guaranteed get from trading from 10 to 15.
Also, from now on, if you trade a pocket monster that’s been in a Trainer’s Pokémon Box since 2017, you’re guaranteed to get a Lucky Pokémon until you reach the 15 Pokémon limit.

Raid day with Hisui Arktilas
When is Raid Day? The Hisui Arktilas Raid Day runs on Saturday, December 24th. It starts at 2:00 p.m. and is available until 5:00 p.m.
What does the raid day bring? On the raid day, Hisui Arktilas is available in Tier 3 Raid Battles. Also, if you are lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Hisui Arktilas, whose spawn chance is increased during the raid day.
On top of that, you can get up to five additional Raid Passes for free when you spin arena photo discs.
What’s happening in Pokémon GO in the coming weeks? Organizing a raid day and mini-event on December 24th is certainly not convenient for every trainer and one or the other trainer is probably already looking at the events of the coming month.
