Step by step towards only tobacco sales in specialty stores
The online sales ban for tobacco products and vapes was already introduced in 2023. As of July 1, the sales ban in supermarkets will be added to this. By 2030, tobacco sales at gas pumps will end. Cigarettes may then only be sold in specialty stores and so-called convenience stores. From 2032, only specialty tobacco stores will be allowed to sell tobacco.
