It allows each user to pin up to three publications or Reels at the top of their snaps grid, and therefore to highlight them. Note that it was already possible to group a certain number of Stories in the form of a folder, which was pinned at the top of his profile, and therefore to make them last up to 24 hours. And it’s probably not over: Adam Mosseri, the boss of Instagram, also indicated that the platform is currently exploring new possibilities to give users more control over their content.
How do you pin a post on your Instagram profile?
Here’s how to use the new post pinning feature in Instagram.
► Open the Instagram application on your mobile, then go to your profile by pressing the little bubble with your photoin the banner at the bottom right.
► Tap on the publication of your choice, then on the three little dots at the top right of the post.
► Options are then displayed in a pane at the bottom of the screen. Press on Pin to your profile. And There you go !
Note, however, that you can only pin three posts. If you want to pin an additional one, the oldest pinned post will automatically be overwritten.
