ZEIST – Voordaan from Groenekan has lost points in the title fight in the promotion class by drawing 3-3 at number six Cartouche. Leader Schaerweijde from Zeist won 1-3 at number seven Almere.
Schaerweijde has 41 points from fifteen matches. Voordaan remains second with 36 points from fifteen matches. Hdm did not benefit from Voordaan’s draw (1-1 draw at Victoria). As a result, hdm remains third with 34 points from fifteen games.
Front fights back
Voordaan fell behind early through a goal by Quintijn van Rheenen. Via Thur Stadelemaier and Adriaan Stolk, the team from Groenekan turned the deficit into a lead. Cartouche also managed to come back from behind. From 1-2 behind it became 3-2 via Lars Daniels and Van Rheenen’s second goal. Thanks to Stolk’s second goal, Voordaan was left with a point from the encounter with Cartouche.
