What are HDR and HFR?
The re-release of Titanic is done in HDR and HFR. HDR offers a “higher dynamic range”, explained James Cameron when Avatar was released last August, but also greater brightness. As for the HFR, also called High Frame Rate, this allows the film to be projected at 48 frames per second (normally, the projection is done at 24 frames per second). The image is therefore more fluid.
