On April 11, 1912, first class passengers on the Titanic were treated to tournedos, salmon with hollandaise and apricot pie.

This is evident from a water-damaged, partially legible menu that has now been sold at auction in England for 84,000 pounds, equivalent to roughly 1.1 million kroner. It is believed to be the only extant specimen.

The Titanic was en route from Southampton to New York when it collided with an iceberg on April 14. Over 1,500 people, out of 2,200 on board, died when the ship sank.
