A man was arrested after Chatham-Kent police were called about shopping carts being tipped over at a local grocery store.

Officers responded to a disturbance at the Real Canadian Superstore in Chatham just before 7:30 am Friday and located a man tipping over shopping carts and screaming, police said.

The man was arrested and it was confirmed he was under a probation order prohibiting him from being at the store, police said.
A 29-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a probation order. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing, police said.
Man arrested after CK police respond to domestic disturbance
A man was arrested after Chatham-Kent police responded to a domestic disturbance on Northland Drive just after 7 pm Friday.
Police said through investigation officers learned a man and a woman were arguing when the situation escalated and the woman was assaulted.

A 38-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats, police said.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man arrested after found with pocketknife: police
Having a pocketknife in his possession while intoxicated, led to a man being charged with a probation violation, says Chatham-Kent police.
Police said an officer on patrol just after 8:30 pm Friday located a highly intoxicated man walking on Grand Avenue East in Chatham.
While searching the man after he was arrested, police said the officer found a pocketknife in the man’s possession. The officer learned then man was bound by a probation order prohibiting him from possession weapons.
A 25-year-old Charring Cross man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a probation order. He was transported to police headquarters and held until sober then released with conditions and an April 8 court date, police said.
