Brant OPP have set up an email tip line for anyone who might have information about who was involved in the death of Gordon Oughtred.
The 82-year-old man’s Nov. 24 death has been determined to be a homicide and a police investigation continues at his Salt Springs Church Road home.
Police are asking anyone with information about Oughtred’s death to email a tip to [email protected]. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leave an anonymous online message at www.crimestoppersbb.com.
Oughtred was a long-time fixture on the quiet, rural Salt Springs Church Road where he was know for his collection of vintage tractors that he had lovingly restored.
Police were called to his Sunny Terrace Farms property just after noon on Nov. 24 and closed the road around the farm for several days as they began the investigation.
Friends said Oughtred was a mechanical whiz and a helpful neighbor.
