Eight-year-old Tintin in Luleå is suspected of having been murdered by his father. After the great attention surrounding the case, the mother’s lawyer is now speaking out.
– The worst thing imaginable has happened. A child has lost his life and my client has lost his son, says Camilla Orefjärd, the mother’s legal representative.
She has not previously spoken to the media, despite several requests.
– There are many questions I will not answer at the moment due to the ongoing preliminary investigation.
Tintin was found dead in a home in Luleå on Sunday, January 8, after he had spent time with his father. He was found after his mother became worried and contacted the police, according to the prosecutor.
The father, who is 45 years old, is now in custody on suspicion of murder. According to the coroner’s statement, the boy was “probably killed by another person”.
