Winger Timo Stavitski got a dream start at his new club in Sweden.
Recently moved from Turku’s Inter to the Swedish premier league, Allsvenskan Timo Stavitski25, excelled immediately in his debut in scoring.
After his long vertical run, Stavitski scored Mjällby’s 2-0 goal at the half-hour mark in the away match against Norrköping on Monday.
In addition, Stavitski passed Imam Jagne at the end of the opening goal.
The match ended with Mjällby winning 2–1. The Finnish goal scorer was substituted in the 73rd minute.
Stavitski scored five complete hits in the 19 Veikkausliga matches he played this season.
