(Finance) – TIM informs that the Brazilian subsidiary TIM SA has communicated that it has completed the acquisitiontogether with Telefônica Brasil SA (VIVO) and Claro SA, of the mobile assets of the Oi Group for a total value of about 7 billion reais.
The closing arrives following theapproval of the operation by local authorities (FALLS And Anatel).
The operation will create a new infrastructural balance on the Brazilian market, in which they will be present three main operators which will guarantee a high level of competitionbenefits to customers and adequate investments for the development of telecommunications infrastructures and the digitization of the country.
