Man faces drugs, weapons charges

A Toronto man, who was wanted by police, is facing several charges after being arrested in Tillsonburg.
Oxford OPP officers on patrol at just after 1 am on Sept. 2 identified a passenger in a vehicle as a person wanted by police.
Officers stopped the vehicle on Broadway and took a 26-year-old man into custody.
Oxford OPP says a quantity of drugs and an imitation firearm were seized.
The accused has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possessing an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose, drug possession and four counts of drug trafficking. He has also been charged with failing to comply with a release order.
Weapons complaint
A Tillsonburg resident is facing weapons charges after police responded to a weapon complaint.

Oxford OPP responded to Ridout Street in Tillsonburg at about 10:45 am on Aug. 30.
Officers located and arrested a person who was in possession of an edged weapon.
A 35-year-old man has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
Impaired driving charges
A man has been charged with impaired driving after police saw a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner on Broadway in Tillsonburg.
Oxford OPP officers stopped the vehicle at just after 1 am on Sept. 3.
A 32-year-old man from Tillsonburg has been charged with operation while impaired and with having a blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
