The host Tilde de Paula Eby has become a familiar face in the television box after several years as presenter of TV4’s “News morning”. In 2018, she quit the program to move on to another production, also within the framework of TV4.

In 2023 she replaced Agneta Sjödin in TV4’s “Nyårskaramellerna”, something that was not immediately praised by the viewers. A viewer then wrote the following:

In an interview with Amelia, they tell Paula about what it’s like to be constantly judged as a TV personality. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any secret trick to deflect criticism.
– If someone says you’re pretty on social media, you get happy and someone says you’re ugly, you get sad. I think it’s the same for anyone in any context, says de Paula to the newspaper.
But de Paula also says that it has gotten better over the years. When she was younger, comments about looks could have more impact than they do today.
Nowadays, her focus is on her own well-being.
In the interview, she says that three of her four children have moved away from home and that life has become “airier”. And love life too Thomas de Paula Eby doesn’t seem to be a problem either.

However, they tell Paula that there is one thing that bothers her, something she calls a “damn relationship killer”.
– Netflix is such a damn relationship killer. I can also watch a series, but it gets too boring when you just sit next to each other, she says the newspaperand continues:
– That’s why it’s so worth it to just go out and have a glass of beer or wine. Or at least put away all the phones and sit down at the kitchen table.
Curling up on the couch with her partner is therefore nothing for Tilde de Paula.
