Taking its place alongside social media giants, TikTok is now planning to dominate the market by stepping into the gaming industry. They first announced in November that they would be embarking on a joint project with Zynga. The two companies later teamed up to launch a TikTok-exclusive title, ‘Disco Loco 3D’.
As a result of these steps, TikTok started to meet with many game companies, among these companies; There are companies such as Vodoo, Nitro Games, FRVR, Aim Lab Lotem.
According to the company’s claim, if successful, the company will appear as an ordinary mobile game on Apple and Google’s app stores.
TikTok has not officially announced the game yet, but the company’s spokesperson made the following statement; We are always looking for ways to enrich our platform and regularly test new features and integrations that add value to our community. We are currently investigating bringing HTML5 gaming to TikTok through integrations with third-party game developers and studios.
