Tiger Woods has a difficult start at the US Open

Golf great Tiger Woods opened the prestigious tournament US Open with a score of 74 or four over par on Thursday.

Tiger Woods recorded six bogeys and two birdies at the US Open’s Pinehurst course, and is quite far from the top spots.

Woods has won 15 major tournaments in his career, and three of the first places have come in the US Open.

The walk-on job of four rounds of golf has struggled for Woods, 48, since he badly injured his legs in 2021 in a car accident.

– I wasn’t as sharp as I should have been. Physically, I feel better the longer the year has gone by, but I haven’t been able to play as much because I don’t want to get injured and have to miss the prestigious tournament, Woods stated.
