Opening of the Festival d’Avignon on July 5 with a new director: the Portuguese actor and director Tiago Rodrigues. Its strong program of around forty shows offers 75 new names to discover and a red thread around the English language. An edition that also gives pride of place to women. This 77th edition is inaugurated by two women: the director Julie Deliquet and the Hip Hop choreographer Bintou Dembélé. Tiago Rodrigues is the guest of Muriel Maalouf.
