Project manager Herman van Vuren has been involved in setting up the raw material depot from the start. “If we redesign a street, we always first check whether we can reuse the existing materials at that location,” he explains. Only if that is not possible will the things be brought to the depot. “Here they are stored, cleaned and repaired so that they are ready for reuse.”
