For days I’ve been cycling through the city like a thief in the night with my camera bag on the back. From Leidsche Rijn to Overvecht and from the Science Park to Zuilen, I see Utrecht through the eyes of others. Which others? The nominees for the Sportprijs Utrecht. Secretly, because no one can know who they are this year, I meet them; the athletes, coaches and volunteers, in all kinds of special places. Chosen by themselves. They like to be photographed here. With this place they have ‘something’. Well-known places but also, for me, unknown gems. I zoom in everywhere in amazement and realize time and time again how beautiful the capital of our province is.
