May 23 is National Day in Memory of the Victims of Slavery. The opportunity to discuss this exhibition called: “Slavery, Norman memories” which is currently being held in Normandy and in three different places: Le Havre, Honfleur and Rouen. This joint and unprecedented exhibition shows the participation of the Normans and their territory in the Atlantic slave trade and the slave trade. A story still unknown to the general public.
