She has to lost her memory in a car accident and Betty wants to reveal her past with her. As dangerous secrets emerge, both women slowly become closer.

Lynch’s film continually amazes and shocks with disturbing scenes that sometimes only last a few seconds. This also includes an unforgettable dinner sequence that revolves around… Nightmare with a monster turns behind the restaurant. How the director slowly builds up this sequence and then unloads it in a short but blood-curdling climax can hardly be described.
