Together, director Martin Scorsese and actor Leonardo DiCaprio have quite a few outstanding masterpieces created like The Wolf of Wall Street. A real highlight is the opaque mystery thriller Shutter Island, which only superficially deals with the search for a missing patient in a psychiatric clinic on a small island.

Behind the film is above all one abysmal soul journey, for which intentional errors have even been thrown in. ProSieben will broadcast Shutter Island on February 24 at 10:55 p.m.

Shutter Island is riddled with intentional bugs, and for good reason

Separate entries on websites such as Moviemistakes.com have been created for Scorsese’s work in order to draw attention to numerous film errors. Disappearing water glasses or teaspoons from one scene to the next are among the apparent goofs featured in the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio equal to 42 pieces should give.

Who has seen Shutter Island and especially the big twist from the finale will understand that these flawed moments are intentional. Scorsese worked with his regular editor, Thelma Schoonmaker, to think through every scene.

The flawed moments are instead, according to Screen Rant Traces to unveil the story. They serve primarily as a mirror of the psychologically distorted perception of a particular character. We don’t want to spoil more at this point if you haven’t seen Shutter Island yet.
