The girl entered the hospital with her parents on Wednesday because it was suspected that she had been poisoned. Tests then showed that she had ingested drugs classified as narcotics.
“We haven’t received the analysis report yet in black and white, but according to the initial assessment from the healthcare system, it is about tramadol and fentanyl,” says the prosecutor Love Lundin to Sydsvenskan.
The parents are suspected of serious assault, alternatively serious bodily harm. They deny wrongdoing.
The prosecutor tells the newspaper that the girl is doing well under the circumstances and that she has been taken care of by social services.
