NHL Network has again ranked the league’s best centers.
There are three Swedes on the list, with Rangers player Mika Zibanejad highly praised.

When the league is over and the players have had a vacation, NHL Networks usually ranks the best players in different positions. Now the series’ 20 best centers have been selected and there are three Swedes on the list.
Zibanejad is praised
At the top of the list, among the Swedes, is Mika Zibanejad. He ranks tenth behind players like Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews and Nathan MacKinnon.
The justification for the Swedish center’s place on the list reads as follows:
– I don’t know if there’s anyone else who plays this position who drives toward the goal as well as No. 93 (Mika’s number), said NHL profiler Stu Grimson.
Mika Zibanejad was one of the best players on a Rangers team that made it all the way to the conference finals, but later fell to Victor Hedman’s Tampa Bay Lightning.
Two Elias on the list
There are also two more Swedes on the list. It is Elias Pettersson, place 19, and Elias Lindholm, place 13, who both had good seasons. The former started the new competitive year weakly, but was one of the league’s top scoring players during the spring.
Elias Lindholm had his best season in the NHL and was noted for 82 points in as many games during the regular season.
First on the list, which can be seen in its entirety here, is of course Edmonton’s Connor McDavid.
