Three men in their 20s have been taken to hospital after being cut, probably with a knife, in Skellefteå. The police have arrested a suspect, a man of the same age as the injured.
In the initial investigation phase, the man is suspected of attempted murder and, according to Fredrik Nilsson, duty officer of the police in the North region, will be arrested.
What is behind the incident is not known, but it is not a random act of insanity, according to the police. It all came to light when a police patrol found an injured man outside in the city half an hour after midnight. A little later it became clear that three men had been injured. Their injuries are considered serious but not life-threatening.
At half past one, the suspect could be arrested, outdoors in the city.
