The government raises the limit for state income tax, reports Echo.

According to the new budget, the new limit will be SEK 53,590 a month.

Last year, the Tidö parties paused an increase and referred to the high inflation.

Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (M) tells the channel that it is obvious to make an automatic increase.

    – Whether you have had blue, red or other governments, it is common to let different indexings run. For example, Magdalena Andersson has done this before, so this is not something strange, but what we did last year, with a very brutally high inflation, and where the breaking point was written up so much, we chose to make sure that everyone got a tax cut. But it was temporary.
