The murdered 31-year-old was the leader of the Satudarah Assassins criminal gang. Among the defendants are additional gang members.
One of those charged with incitement to murder, having the now 16-year-old shooter carry out the deed, is a 28-year-old man. He was ranked lower in the gang and reportedly owed large debts to the 31-year-old. In addition, they should both have been friends.
