He is the one who drew up the proposal to ban nitrous oxide as part of the local ordinance. In the past, something similar was done when loud music was banned in certain places in the municipality. This time, the idea is that the ban should apply in public places throughout the municipality.
Change may take place in the summer
The proposal is on the agenda and is expected to go through at the full council. Then the County Administrative Board must check that it is legal for Bollnäs to do this, that the ban does not conflict with other legislation. According to the municipality, Bollnäs could be the first in the country to ban nitrous oxide.
