Another person has been detained after the shooting death in Farsta.

It concerns an 18-year-old man who, among other things, is suspected of aiding and abetting murder.

The 18-year-old was arrested on Friday and is now suspected on probable cause of two counts of aiding and abetting murder and two counts of aiding and abetting attempted murder after the fatal shooting in Farsta in southern Stockholm on June 10.

The man himself denied the crime, his defense lawyer Behrang Eslami states in a comment to Aftonbladet.

“My client denies wrongdoing. Due to restrictions and out of respect for prevailing pre-trial confidentiality, I am currently prevented from developing my client’s position,” he writes.

“Large number of shots”

Since before, two 19-year-old men have been detained on suspicion of murder. The men were arrested shortly after the shooting following a massive car chase on the E4.

The police have previously commented on the events in Farsta.

– It is a military automatic weapon that has been used, and a large number of shots have been fired at the scene. Thus a great risk for the public and various people to end up in that form of setting fire, said Max Åkerwall the day after the shooting.

Two people, 15-year-old Elias and 43-year-old photographer Tesfamichal Beraki, were shot to death in the center of Farsta.
