The police were alerted about three people who had fallen into the water at Storsjön in Sandviken.

On Storsjön at the height of Sandviken, a boating accident occurred on Sunday morning. Three people have fallen into the water and one of them manages to get on the boat and call the police.

Several rescue resources have been called to the scene, where they meet the three people who are in need of care.
Hypothermia – one to hospital
– Two people come out of the water in their own machine, the third is helped by a boat from the rescue service and taken to hospital, says Stefan Larsson.
The condition of the third person’s injuries is unclear and according to the caller, they must have been in the water for approximately 45 minutes.
– It was freezing cold when we arrived, says Stefan Larsson.
According to the police, it is not about any crime, but rather that they have been windy at the scene.
– It seems to be a pure accident, says Stefan Larsson.
