Three people and a dog were rescued from a fire on Terrace Hill Street on Saturday night.
Brantford Fire Chief Todd Binkley said the call about a fire at a four-unit building at 16 Terrace Hill came in at about 9:30 pm
He said crews arrived at a working fire.
Firefighters rescued three people from an upper unit. Two were taken to hospital by Brant-Brantford paramedics as a precaution, said Binkley.
A dog rescued from another unit was unharmed.
Binkley said the fire, which caused an estimated $80,000 in damage, is under investigation by the fire department and Brantford police.
