Three people have been detained on suspicion of involvement in a murder in Västerås this summer, VLT reports.
The people – who are between 24 and 38 years old – are suspected of aiding and abetting murder and grossly protecting a criminal.
It was at the beginning of July that an 18-year-old man was shot to death at his home in a residential area in Bjurhovda in Västerås, and earlier this week five people were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder. Three of them have now been detained, while two have been released at large. However, the persons are still suspected of crimes.
The detention hearing was held on Sunday. Two people are already in custody in the case: a 16-year-old who is suspected of incitement to murder, and a person under the age of 18 who is suspected of having shot the young man dead.
