Three people arrested for assault in two separate incidents

Police investigate Wallaceburg break in

Chatham-Kent police arrested three people on Saturday in connection to two separate assault incidents.

Officers responded to a call regarding a disturbance inside a local motel.

Police said it was learned an intoxicated individual allegedly damaged some property and assaulted a person with a weapon.

The accused was arrested and transported to police headquarters and later released with a court date, police said.

Two individuals were arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation for allegedly assaulting and causing bodily harm to another person.

The two accused were released with a court date, police said.

Damage caused during break-in at Chatham business

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a break and enter after being called to a Chatham business on Saturday.

Police learned a glass door and window were broken, causing approximately $3,000 damage.

Break-in at Wallaceburg home

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a break and enter at a property in Wallaceburg.

Police responded to a call on Saturday and learned a home with boarded up windows was broken into sometime over the previous seven.

Damage was caused inside the home, police said.
