Vadim Kobzev, Igor Sergunin and Alexei Liptsen, were arrested in October 2023.
They are convicted of involvement in an extremist group and receive between three and a half to five years in prison. The group in question is Navalny’s network, which has been branded extremist by the Kremlin.
The case has been widely seen as a way to discourage defense lawyers from taking on cases for the opposition.
