The Russians Igor Girkin and Sergey Doebinsky and the Ukrainian Leonid Chartsjenko have been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Dutch court. The chance that this will actually happen seems small: they are currently in Russia and that country refuses to extradite them. The fourth suspect, Russian Oleg Pulatov, has been acquitted. His role in the downing of MH17 has not been sufficiently proven, the judge finds.
