Three wanted girls were found in the middle of the night injured outside in the municipality of Mellerud.
They are said to have fled from a house in which they were said to have been confined for several months, according to information given to TV4 Nyheterna.

The police were alerted to a remote address in the municipality of Mellerud on the night of Sunday. Residents of a house had called 112.
– It came in at 00.40. There are three girls, quite young, who knock on the complainant’s door to get help, says Jan Bäckström, preliminary investigation coordinator in the West region.
“Succeeded in escaping after several months”
The girls must have been chilled and thinly dressed, according to information given to TV4 Nyheterna. The police launched a major operation but are tight-lipped about the case.
According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the three girls must have stated that they were kept locked in a house. According to the same information, they must have been subjected to violence and have been confined for several months. On the night in question, the girls managed to escape.
All three are said to have been wanted after deviating from the accommodation they were placed in with the support of LVU, the Act on the care of young people.

The investigation has been going on intensively since last Sunday night and according to TV4 Nyhetern’s data, several people are suspected in the case. A prosecutor has been brought in but is very tight-lipped.
– I can confirm that there are three girls who have been found and reported as a crime. They are minors and have sought help at the scene. There shouldn’t be any serious injuries, but I don’t know if they were taken to hospital. I cannot go into more at the moment, says prosecutor Oscar Johansson.
What crimes are involved?
– I don’t want to go into that for investigative reasons.
The prosecutor states that no one has yet been arrested in the case.
