Missing woman found safe

Three people have been charged with trafficking fentanyl after Brantford police searched a stolen vehicle at about 4 pm on Jan. 20.

Police said a search yielded about 57.73 grams of suspected fentanyl inside the vehicle, which pulled into a driveway on Palace Street after traveling northbound on Pearl Street.

A 42-year-old man and 23-year-old woman, both from Hamilton, and a 50-year-old man of no fixed address are each charged with possession of stolen goods of $5,000, possession for the purpose of trafficking, occupying a motor vehicle without consent and possession of a controlled drug. The woman is also charged with breach of probation.
