Three face drug charges after traffic stop: Lambton OPP

Three people face drug charges after a traffic stop this week in Enniskillen Township, provincial police say.

Officers seized an estimated $5,000 in suspected illegal drugs from a vehicle stopped on Petrolia Line about 2:30 am Monday, Lambton OPP said.

A 21-year-old of no fixed address, a 26-year-old from Plympton-Wyoming and a 26-year-old from Lambton Shores are charged with possessing drugs for trafficking, police said. They were released pending a July 17 short date.

One charged after rollover

A driver faces an impaired charge after a vehicle rolled on Highway 402 in Plympton-Wyoming last week, provincial police say.

Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle crash about 10 pm May 31, Lambton OPP said.

The driver was arrested, their driver’s license was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days, police said.

A Georgetown resident, 20, is charged with impaired driving, police said. They are to appear in a Sarnia court June 24.
