Russia and Iran are moving forward with plans to build a joint weapons factory in Russia, writes the Wall Street Journal. The factory will have the capacity to produce over 6,000 drones designed by Iran and the plans are seen as a sign of increased defense cooperation between the countries.
– For Iran, which is a pariah in much of the Western world, there is a “win-win” in supporting Russia. It is seen as Russia striking at its own enemies, says SVT’s Ukraine correspondent Bengt Norborg.
