Through DNA, the county administrative board has established that it is three individuals. But they judge that there is only one individual inside the community – likely a young male.
“In situations with predators in communities, it is likely that something attracts the animal towards the community. The County Administrative Board therefore urges residents in the area to check their surroundings to see if anything can attract the wolf.” This is what the county administrative board writes in a press release.
“For example, feeding other game near communities can attract predators and cause them to show less timid behavior. To avoid the wolf getting used to the presence of people, the County Administrative Board also urges that you should not look for the wolf,” writes the Västernorrland County Administrative Board in the press release.
