Three people in Sundsvall are in custody for a very brutal assault.

– There are elements of torture, where, among other things, they have pulled out a tooth of the plaintiff and strangled him to unconsciousness, says prosecutor Malin Löfgren to Sundsvalls Tidning.

According to the prosecutor, the assault, which took place in a home environment, was filmed.

– I have never seen anything similar to what the plaintiffs were subjected to in these films and find it difficult to understand that you can treat another person like that, says Malin Löfgren.

The victim, a man in his 30s, received “extensive and serious injuries”, according to the police. He was initially hospitalized, but discharged himself.

The assault, which occurred at the end of January, was discovered in early February when a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of another assault.

In addition to that man, another man in his 25s and a woman in his 30s are in custody.

The prosecutor says she expects to file charges in the case this week.
