German police have arrested three people, suspected of espionage, German media reports.
The arrested, three men from Russia, Ukraine and Armenia, are suspected of being agents working “on behalf of a foreign intelligence service”. They allegedly spied on a Ukrainian citizen living in Germany.
They were arrested in Frankfurt on Wednesday, when they searched a cafe where their victim was believed to be.
The prosecutor’s office does not want to state which nation’s intelligence service it is about.
