Three people have been killed in a shooting at a border crossing between the occupied West Bank and Jordan, Israeli emergency services say.
“We found three men who were unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with gunshot wounds,” writes rescue service Magen David Adom in a press release.
After the people were found, paramedics were called, but their lives could not be saved.
“Together with the medical personnel of the Israeli military, we made resuscitation attempts, but unfortunately we had to declare them dead on the spot”.
A suspected perpetrator has been killed by Israeli security forces, police said according to Haaretz. The border crossing is used by Palestinians, Israelis and international tourists.
